What is Vaastu -
Vaastu is a science of direction, shapes and position of the place and surroundings in which we live in.
It suggests how can we improve our health and luck by adjusting the things around us to our benefit.
The five elements Earth, water, fire, Air and sky govern our life. Earth's magnetic field, rotation of
earth on its own axis & revolution around Sun, Rays of sun and Air around us, the plants and animals effecting our life are all factors which contribute to the existence of our life.
Improve your health, wealth, luck by observing the following suggestions of Vaastu:-
The front of your House, Shop or Factory
1. The gate of your house should be on the East, North -East or North direction.
2. The gate of your house should not face any religious place specially a temple.
3. No shade of religious place should fall on your house.
In the house
1. The place of worship in your house should be in North-East or Eastern corner of your house.
2. Never make your kitchen towards North- East, nor it should be in front of or next to toilet.
3. Keep your store for costly goods or money in the North side of your house.
4. The bedroom of the master of house and Library should be in the direction of South-West.
5. Do not plant any tree in the house which releases white milk, when any of its branch or leave is cut.
6. Do not plant any thorny trees in a house, like cactus.
7. Trees like Pomegranate, Amla, Coconut and Kathal are good in the house.
8. Keep Lakshmi, Ganapati or Kuber photos on the main gate.
9. Students while studying should always face the direction of East or North-East.
10. No Garbage should be dumped in the Northern Eastern side of your house.
11. While sleeping your head should be in the direction of south and legs towards north.
12. All mirrors in the house should be fixed on the northern and eastern wall.
Factories or shops
1. Factory plots should always be rectangular or square in shape.
2. Borewell or Tubewell should be in the North- East direction only.
3. The Transformer, electric supply and Instruments should be in the South East direction.
4. The godown of raw material should be located in the South West direction.
5. Finished Goods should be kept in North west direction.
6. The Overhead tank should be in the North west corner.
7. Parking can be in East or North.
8. The main office of Management should be in South west or West and the owner should sit facing East or North.
What is Fengshui-
Feng means wind and Shui means water. Fengshui is a description about how the "chi",
the energy of the life force, flows around us and influences our lives. The practice of "Fengshui" is to achieve the optimum balance and harmony through the location and orientation of the living environment.
Ways to enhance good energy in your house:-
1. Pot plants to enhance and energize the element of wood. Place them in the corner of your living room, but not in the bedroom or kitchen.
2. To balance the odd shaped room use candles to energize the element of fire.
3. Hang a crystal in your window for good fortune. Crystal energize the element of earth
4. For attracting wealth and prosperity use fish bowls, the element of water.
5. Place mirrors facing excessive noise. These ae used to deflect bad energy.
6. While buying or building a home, a site facing water is life giving and next to a mountain or hill helps to promote chi.
7. Keep mirrors clean and bright and oval shaped mirrors are best. Avoid mirrors that have pictures engraved or printed on them.
